VCR QUICK-RECORD FEATURE

HOW TO USE THE VCR QUICK-RECORD FEATURE

Imagine, no more digging through the TV guide, no more complicated programming of start times, end times or channel numbers. Use the Interactive Program Guide to find a program you would like to record, press a few buttons and you’re all set.

1. Press the CBL button on the remote.
2. Press the GUIDE button.
3. Use the ARROW buttons to highlight the program you wish to record.
4. Press the INFO button.
   
5. Press the SELECT button.
6. Following the screen instruction, program you VCR’s timer to record at the correct time
   (see your owners VCR’s owners manual for more questions on programming the VCR’s timer).
7. Turn off you VCR, TV and converter box.
   NOTE: In your Interactive Program Guide, you will see that the programs you have scheduled to record are designated with a TAPE icon.

HOW TO CANCEL YOUR VCR QUICK-RECORD FEATURE

1. Press the CBL button.
2. Use the ARROW buttons to highlight the Program Timers option.
3. Press the SELECT button.
4. Use the ARROW buttons to highlight the program you want to cancel.
   
5. Press the “0” button on the number pad.
6. The selected Program Timer should disappear.
7. Press the MENU button until you return to watching TV.

HOW TO CHANGE THE TIME OR DAY YOU ARE RECORDING

1. Repeat steps 1 - 6 on previous page.
2. Use the down ARROW button to move the highlight to the options for Start Day, Start Time, Length and Channel.
   
3. Use the CH+ or CH- buttons to select the setting for each option.
4. Press the MENU button until you return to watching TV.
