Some program providers use an audio format known as Secondary Audio Programming
(SAP). This can be used for various audio content such as foreign language
programs. To correct this condition, do the following: Consult your owner's
manual to change the audio receiver format out of SAP.

- To watch a channel, set your TV to the proper channel for your converter
box (3), your VCR to OFF, and your converter to the channel you wish to
watch.
- To watch and record the same channel when your VCR’s “VCR/TV”
button is on “TV,” set your TV to the proper channel for your
converter (3), your VCR to the same channel as your TV, and your converter
to the channel you wish to watch and record.
- To watch and record the same channel when your VCR’s “VCR/TV”
button is on “VCR,” set your TV to channel 3*, your VCR to
the proper channel for your converter box (3), and your converter box
to the channel you wish to watch and record.
*Or as specified to match your VCR

- You must have your original remote, or be able to access the menu using
the buttons on the front of your TV.
- Under the Channel or Tuner menu choose “Channel Setup,”
“Auto Channel Search” or “Auto Program.” If your
TV’s menu doesn’t match any of the above, choice one that
sounds similar.
